Share:

Comstock Holding Companies (NASDAQ: CHCI) has posted impressive financial results for the second quarter of 2026, demonstrating sustained growth and strategic expansion. The real estate development and management firm reported a 74% year-over-year increase in revenue, reaching $22.6 million for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. This marks the company's 30th consecutive quarter of revenue growth.

Net income saw a dramatic rise of 512% compared to the prior year, totaling $8.8 million. Adjusted EBITDA, a key performance metric for Comstock, surged by 231% to $7.4 million. These increases were primarily driven by the expansion of the company's managed portfolio, which grew to 108 assets from 82 in the previous year, and strong recurring fee-based revenues. Comstock emphasized its asset-light, debt-free business model, supported by a solid balance sheet with $25.3 million in cash and cash equivalents.

The company's growth initiatives are multifaceted, including progress in its Institutional Venture Platform and Data Center Platform. A notable development was the finalization of a data center joint venture in Oklahoma with Jericho Energy Ventures and the acquisition of the Woodland Pointe office complex. Comstock also expanded its reach into regional mall management with a contract for Dulles Town Center. Furthermore, the company highlighted significant office leases signed in the second quarter with Peraton and QTS, contributing to a 92% occupancy rate in its stabilized commercial portfolio. The residential portfolio also maintained strong performance at 94% leased.

Christopher Clemente, Comstock's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "Our continued focus on strategic growth in Q2 delivered a 74% increase in revenue and significant increases in net income and Adjusted EBITDA, demonstrating the potential of our asset-light, debt-free platform." The company's financial strength and diversified growth strategy position it for continued success in the evolving real estate and data center markets.
