The NBA Canada Series is set to return, featuring a preseason game between the Toronto Raptors and the Washington Wizards at the Bell Centre in Montreal on October 6, 2024. This marks the 10th edition of the NBA Canada Series, which has brought NBA action to Canadian fans since 2012. The series has showcased 15 teams playing 18 preseason games in front of over 335,000 fans across six cities. Montreal will host its eighth NBA Canada Series game, the most of any Canadian city outside Toronto.
The Washington Wizards roster includes French National Team member Bilal Coulibaly, Alex Sarr, Kyshawn George, and NBA champions Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole. The Wizards will also play a regular-season game in Mexico City against the Miami Heat on November 2. Bell is the presenting partner of the NBA Canada Series 2024, with supporting partners including Emirates, Hennessy, Hershey, Michelob Ultra, Subway, Sun Life, and Tangerine Bank.
The NBA has a significant international presence with games and programming available in 214 countries and territories in 60 languages. NBA rosters at the start of the 2023-24 season featured a record 125 international players from 40 countries and territories. The Toronto Raptors, as Canada's only NBA team since 2001, hold a special place in the hearts of Canadian basketball fans.
